Dr. Suess is the author and illustrator of classic children's books,one of my favs is The Grinch.
His style is in a category of it’s own,true whimsy.
I was in our big box home improvement center,and fell in love with this whimsical flower.
I thought right away of Dr. Suess.
I think this would be a perfect flower in his garden. The puffy flower reminds of the dust spec in “Horton hears a Who”.
The plant tag identifies these as Dianthus. I believe that Carnations are in the Dianthus family,so I am not sure which part of the Dianthus family tree this comes from but, I love it!
Not only does every garden need a little whimsy,but so does everyday!
~~~Livin’ the dream!
