Really?

Just inside the thrift store stood this lamp

As I walked by my eyes landed on the price...1.00.

I stopped,looked around turned to look again. Nope not 10.00,clearly the tag states 1.00. I pretended to be looking at books and thought why is this sitting here,how can they be shopping for clothes! This Wonderful Shabby Chic lamp is marked 1.00! So I continued to pretend to look around.

Then I firmly grabbed it,I was not letting go! I asked if I could plug it in...she pointed to the plug.

Click,Click,Click.....yep working...still no crowd.

I was starting to perspire as I was checking out...maybe I was wrong! She asked "what is on the tag",I swallowed hard "1.00" she looked up,looked at tag. Hit a few buttons "1.07"! I handed her 2.00 and said lets just make it 2.00! It is for charity!

Again,a firm grasp on the lamp,looking right then left...I sprinted to the car! No... I danced to the car!

A bath,proper bulbs...what a beauty!
